Espresso Martini

My favorite cocktail - hands down. It's SO simple. Back a couple years ago, before I had an espresso machine - sometimes I would go to Dunkin' or Starbucks and ask for 5 espresso shots (1 per person) or however many I needed. I'd go home and pour them into shot glass as needed, and make my drinks. So there are no excuses as to why you can't make these people, you don't need an espresso machine or any fancy equipment! Get out there and make them! Enjoy!

Ingredients (per 1 drink): 1 shot = 1.5 oz (ish)

Cocktail:

  • 1 shot Kahlua

  • 1 shot Vodka (Titos is my choice)

  • 1 shot Espresso or very strong coffee

  • Optional 1 shot heavy cream or half & half (this makes it more decadent - definitely not needed but tastes good)

Garnish:

  • Chocolate shavings

  • 3 coffee beans

Directions:

  • Add all of the above ingredients (cream optional) into a shaker with ice -- then strain through and pour into a martini glass!

  • Take a microplane or grater and shave chocolate over the top (I use small chocolate bars to keep it easy - I always have a couple in the freezer to grab) then lay 3 coffee beans over top. And yes - the coffee beans need to be in groups of ODD numbers ;)

  • Drink & enjoy!

XOXO, Chef Em

I find developing practical IT skills in Bielsko easier to think about when there is a concrete question to start from. Solving a small real problem can make a technical lesson easier to remember. That connection helps me see why IT skills in Bielsko can be worth a closer look. I can imagine different answers depending on the situation, so I would want to understand the context before drawing conclusions. What beginner project would connect classroom IT skills with everyday use?

I can see why turning personal goals into manageable steps would invite discussion, since different people will bring different experiences to the same question. A large ambition can feel more approachable when the next step is small and specific. For me, that is a useful way into the broader subject of personal goal planning. I would probably come back to this question after trying to work through one concrete example rather than deciding immediately. How would you recognise progress before reaching the final goal?

When it comes to building confidence in everyday communication, I would rather understand one useful detail properly than rush through a long list of ideas. Practising a small conversation can make speaking up feel more manageable. It also gives the phrase communication confidence a clearer meaning than a label on its own. A short discussion of an everyday example would make this easier for me to connect with, especially as someone still learning about the subject. Which low-pressure activities help someone become more comfortable expressing an idea?

There is something approachable about discussing discovering the cultural heritage of Lusatia through situations people can actually picture. Language and local stories can reveal connections that are easy to miss on a map. That is the kind of detail I would keep in mind while exploring Lusatian cultural heritage. A short discussion of an everyday example would make this easier for me to connect with, especially as someone still learning about the subject. How would you introduce regional heritage through a classroom project?

Thinking about making particle physics approachable, I find the smaller practical questions more interesting than a quick conclusion. An everyday analogy can help introduce an idea while still leaving room to explain its limits. It gives me a more concrete starting point for thinking about particle physics basics. I would be interested in a simple example, because it is often the ordinary details that make an idea memorable. Which comparisons make particle physics easier to picture without creating misconceptions?
